¿Qué espacio de color usan mis fotos de iPhone 8?

Mientras que mis fotos antiguas de iPad mini dicen que su espacio de color es sRGB, mis nuevas fotos de iPhone 8 me dicen que su espacio de color es "65535" ("valor desconocido"). Algunas fuentes dicen que este valor significa "sin calibrar", pero esa información no sirve de nada. ¿Hay alguna fuente mejor que me diga el verdadero espacio de color de las fotos? Quiero incrustarlos en un archivo PDF y para esto especificar el espacio de color correcto.

Por alguna razón, la etiqueta ColorSpace no es muy útil en EXIF. Los únicos valores estándar son 1 (sRGB) y 65535 ("sin calibrar"). Los demás valores están reservados. Algunas cámaras las usan para referirse a Adobe RGB u otra cosa, pero esto no es estándar. De hecho, Apple está usando Something Else, y eso se encuentra en otras partes de los metadatos. Con ExifTool, buscando etiquetas que comienzan con Profile, encontré:
