Es eso posible ? Realmente creo que mi problema de impresión está relacionado con esta inconsistencia ...

Para mí dice 12.10.
El único caso que tengo aquí que se muestra así es el 13.04 que todavía está en desarrollo (Ans también considera fuera de tema en Askubuntu):
Si instaló algunos paquetes 13.04 (ya sea manualmente o mediante un PPA), podría haber mezclado todo el 12.10 con los paquetes 13.04 y modificado la información del sistema para mostrar la información tal como la ve ahora.
