Monitores duales con controlador de 2 videos con xrandr 1.4

Estoy tratando de hacer doble pantalla con 2 controladores de tarjeta de video diferentes (i915 y nvidia), pero como puede ver, xrandr solo incluye el proveedor de nvidia. Estoy usando Arch Linux. Intenté sin éxito encontrar dónde xrandrobtiene la lista de proveedores.

¿Hay alguna razón por la que no pueda ver el i915?

Debe definir sus GPU en /etc/X11/xorg.conf de esta manera:

Puedo confirmar que sí funciona. La nueva URL de la página de documentos de nvidia ahora es http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/319.12/README/randr14.html (la anterior no funciona).

La configuración de mi monitor dual es GTX1080 e Intel HD Graphics 4000 (i5 3570) gráfico integrado: un monitor cada uno.

El siguiente xorg.conf funcionó perfectamente para mí:
