También tengo problemas con el controlador Ethernet RTL8111. No funciona en absoluto en Ubuntu x64.

Conclusión: la revisión 06 de RTL8111 / 8168 no funciona por encima de AMD64 Kernel 2.6
- Este nic funciona con todos los núcleos i386.
- No funcionó con ndiswrapper en amd64.
Regresión:
- Incluí en la lista negra el controlador r8169 e instalé 8.036.00 sobre dkms basado en esta publicación de praseodym .
- También probé el paquete 037.deb desde launchpad sin suerte
- Intenté ip estática / dhcp pero la conexión no funciona.

. Después de instalar el controlador de Realtek, el wifi sigue sin funcionar e incluso el cableado deja de funcionar. A partir de ahora he instalado ubuntu 14 y estoy usando un viejo wifi usb.Tuve el mismo problema durante años y con cada actualización que involucra un kernel se reiniciará con la red desconectada, lo tengo inactivo. Apague la máquina, desconecte el enchufe, mantenga presionado el botón de encendido durante un segundo o dos e inténtelo de nuevo. Si eso falla, elimine /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules y reiniciar generalmente hace el truco.

Mueve el cable y lo fuerza hacia atrás
Windows estuvo bien conectándose a mi ethernet y adquiriendo dirección IP y acceso a internet. Ubuntu también se estaba conectando bien al principio. Después de un tiempo cuando estaba arrancando en Ubuntu, no tenía ninguna red a pesar de que todavía la tenía en Windows.
Decidí ver qué pasa con los leds parpadeantes en el puerto LAN, porque cuando estaba solicitando
ifconfig eth0
no tenía IP ni actividad de paquete.La solución al problema (que curiosamente ocurrió solo en Ubuntu) fue mover un poco el cable y forzarlo un poco hacia atrás.
