VMware Workstation: Error, los módulos deben compilarse ... ¿cómo solucionarlo?

cuando intento iniciar VMWARE-WORKSTATION, aparece el siguiente error:

Antes de poder ejecutar VMware, se deben compilar y cargar varios módulos en el núcleo CANCELAR / INSTALAR

Sin errores, cuando selecciono INSTALAR no sucede nada, solo se cierra.

Instalo manualmente:

sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools open-vm-tools-dev open-vm-dkms open-vm-toolbox open-vm-tools-dev

Pero ya está instalado en las últimas versiones.

Comenzaré una recompensa por arreglar esto.

Después de google-fu: error de "vmware" "driver.c" "__devexit_p". Como se indicó aquí , debe aplicar un parche, el problema es que ese parche no es para su núcleo específico. Pero ... pruébalo de todos modos ... Deberías intentar google-fu así, pero agrega tu versión de kernel. No encontré nada en su versión de kernel, por lo que es posible que deba solicitar un parche para ese kernel en los foros de vmware.

Tengo el parche, lo instalé cuando ejecuté un Kernel anterior, funcionó bien, pero ... pero no se instala en mi sistema actual ... Quizás vmware no puede ejecutarse en el Kernel que estoy usando ...

Tengo el mismo problema Después de un poco de joojling (googlear), resolví mi problema con los siguientes pasos:

  1. (No estoy seguro de que esto afecte a mi problema) cuando se ejecutó @ pst007x

    cd /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/include/linux 
    sudo ln -s ../generated/utsrelease.h 
    sudo ln -s ../generated/autoconf.h 
    sudo ln -s ../generated/uapi/linux/version.h
    
  2. Ejecuté el siguiente código como @Qasim sugirió

    sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all
    

Tengo Ubuntu 13.04-64bit, alimentado por el kernel 3.8.0-21-generic y VMware Player 5.0.2 build-1031769

No lo hizo. Tuve que agregar el enlace version.h y ejecutar el comando vmware-modconfig desde arriba, luego la instalación funcionó.

Creo que el problema es que tiene los encabezados de kernel incorrectos, parece que una de esas sugerencias es tratar de usar encabezados de kernel para 3.9.0, ¿13.04 no usa la versión de kernel 3.88? Intenta obtener los encabezados del kernel de apt, haz lo siguiente:

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)(tomado de nixCraft )

e intente instalarlo nuevamente

Tuve el problema con el kernel enviado con 13.04 (funcionó bien en el kernel anterior enviado con 12.10). Tuve que actualizar mi kernel a 3.9.0 porque después de actualizar a 13.04 mi sistema se bloqueaba de forma intermitente en el arranque, la actualización del kernel resolvió este problema. Gracias

Tuve exactamente el mismo problema cuando actualicé de 12.10 a 13.04. Cuando comencé VMware, recibí el mismo mensaje:

Before you can run VMware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the kernel CANCEL / INSTALL

Cuando haría clic en INSTALAR, no pasaría nada. Verifiqué / var / log / y apport informaba el siguiente error:

Parece que hay un problema con / usr / lib / vmware / bin / vmware-gksu que hace que se bloquee. Puedo reproducir el problema de manera confiable cada vez que ejecuto el comando. Pude resolver el problema ejecutando el comando manualmente. Aquí están los comandos que ejecuté:

Tuve el mismo problema, combinar algunas de las soluciones anteriores funcionó para mí, soy desarrollador, así que ya tenía los encabezados de Linux más recientes, pero en caso de que no

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all

Se arrojaron un par de errores, a pesar de que ahora funciona perfectamente.

Cabe señalar que este método fue probado con VMWare Player, no con la estación de trabajo (la clave de mi estación de trabajo está desactualizada, la última que tengo es la versión 7)
