Este problema ocurre cada vez que intento usar apt-get install para actualizar mi Ubuntu. Estoy en 12.04.01 LTS.
También instalé python-debian desde este enlace: http://pkgs.org/ubuntu-12.04/ubuntu-main-i386/python-debian_0.1.21ubuntu1_all.deb.html Pero no funciona.
¿Puede alguien ayudarme? Muchas gracias. Busqué en Google pero parece que esto ya debería estar solucionado en la versión anterior.

En mi caso tuve que desinstalar todos los paquetes en conflicto como
update-notifier,update-notifier-common, etc. y luego me encontré:fuente
sudo apt install python3-debian python3-chardet python3-sixy todo está bien.Utilizo el comando apt-get remove para eliminar update-notifier-common , flashplugin-installer y luego la solución del problema.
