Voy a enviar un método get simple a mi servidor (es la aplicación Rails) y obtendré el resultado usando RxJava y Retrofit. Lo que hice fue:

Me encontré con el mismo problema. En lugar de agregar nuevos repositorios, puede agregar la dependencia de la biblioteca de Jake Wharton:

El hecho de que el adaptador tenga la versión 2 ... no significa que esté diseñado para usarse con RxJava 2, como pensaba.
