La comparación de esquema SSDT falla al comparar mi proyecto de base de datos con mi servidor Azure

Tengo un proyecto de base de datos SQL en el que he construido nuestra base de datos empresarial. Se ha implementado varias veces en servidores SQL internos y alojados en AWS utilizando la herramienta de comparación de esquemas de SSDT.

El problema cuando publico en Azure Hosted Win 2012 Server ejecutando SQL Ent 2012 sp2. Vuelve con "Comparación completa. No se detectaron diferencias".

Sé que esto está mal, porque puedo abrir Enterprise Manager y comparar el esquema con el Proyecto SQL y ver que hay una diferencia.

Encontré varios artículos que hablan sobre cómo el lanzamiento de 2014 rompió la herramienta, pero esos estaban en diferencias de versión.

Otras cosas que he verificado incluyen asegurarme de que mi cuenta de DB tenga acceso ilimitado. Me puedo conectar con la consola de administración. Me puedo conectar con programas locales.

Última confirmación de que hubo un problema:

  1. Creé un SP que tiene un solo retorno del número 1.
    1. Podría tener un retorno de nada en aras de la prueba.
  2. Después de crear el SP, ejecuté la comparación de esquemas en todas mis instancias y todas, excepto el servidor Azure, mostraron la variación.

Actualizar

He verificado que esto es explícitamente con el servidor, ya que ahora dos usuarios diferentes en dos computadoras diferentes tienen el mismo problema exacto.

TL; DR

La consulta que Visual Studio está ejecutando se está bloqueando y la consulta agota el tiempo de espera.


Resulta que he logrado resolver esto para nuestra situación: ¡tiempo de espera debido al bloqueo!

Ejecuté un seguimiento del generador de perfiles con un filtro en el nombre de la aplicación de Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools, Schema Compare para capturar los eventos de comparación de esquemas de Visual Studio.

Llegaría a una determinada consulta y luego se detendría, cuando VS afirmara que la comparación se había completado.

La ejecución de la consulta en SSMS nunca terminaría de ejecutarse en el servidor infractor, pero tomaría menos de un segundo en cualquier otro entorno.

Así que comencé a separarlo y descubrí que las consultas que están leyendo las siguientes 3 vistas del sistema eran el problema:

  • sys.server_event_session_actions
  • sys.server_event_session_events
  • sys.server_event_session_fields

La primera de estas vistas del sistema solo contenía 28 registros (encontrados al ejecutar a Count(*)), pero no devolvería los datos a menos que usara la (NOLOCK)sugerencia ... [b] ¡problema de bloqueo !

Descubrir la cabeza de la cadena de bloqueo fue bastante fácil, pero no fue eliminable, ya que era una sesión de Eventos extendidos. Aquí hay una solución para este problema: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2511963

Pero, con suerte, en tu caso, ¡puedes acabar con la cabeza de la cadena muy bien y volver a la normalidad!


EDITAR: Después de tener una ventana de mantenimiento viable para el SQL Server afectado, un reinicio ha borrado el SPID y ahora las comparaciones están funcionando una vez más.

El cierre de Visual Studio, SSMS y la detención y reinicio del servicio de SQL Server a través del panel de control de los servicios de ventana me han funcionado: debe haber eliminado las sesiones existentes que causan este problema.
