ssh de OS Sierra a Ubuntu 14.04 dice "No se ha encontrado ningún cifrado coincidente"

Después de actualizar a Sierra hoy, no puedo conectarme con ssh a mi caja de Ubuntu 14.04 porque dice

No se puede negociar con el puerto 22: no se ha encontrado ningún cifrado coincidente. Su oferta: blowfish-cbc

Supongo que Apple ha actualizado la versión OpenSSH y ya no admite el cifrado utilizado en esta versión de Ubuntu. Pero estoy bastante perdido, cómo configurar cada lado para que funcione de nuevo.

Ya lo he intentado con éxito ssh -c blowfish-cbc <my_host> (parece que ambas partes lo apoyan) pero no estoy seguro de si esa es una opción segura.

Ubuntu 14 debería soportar más cifrados que blowfish-cbc. ¿A qué te estás conectando? Puedes publicar un registro detallado desde ssh -vvv -c blowfish-cbc <my_host>?

De hecho, había una línea

Ciphers blowfish-cbc

en mi /etc/ssh/sshd_config archivo, que permite solo este cifrado para las conexiones ssh. No sé cómo llegó allí. Después de comentarlo, las conexiones funcionan de nuevo como se esperaba.

Creo que no debería haber ningún riesgo de seguridad al usar los cifrados predeterminados.

Este es el mismo problema en mi reciente actualización a High Sierra.

Intenta editar el archivo /etc/ssh/ssh_config y busca una linea

#   Ciphers aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-cbc,3des-cbc

Si está comentado, descomprímalo y guarde el archivo.

Solo remover el comentario me curó el problema.

Agrega estas líneas a ssh_config y todo funciona de nuevo

Gracias, Gerardo, esto podría funcionar, pero volver a habilitar DSS me parece menos seguro, ya que OpenSSH lo deshabilitó de forma predeterminada en las versiones más nuevas. Preferiría usar una forma más segura de conectar.
